It's an almost required tool for me to make first round hits at long range when conditons are really tough. When used in conjuncton with a ballistic calculator (on a PDA or other portable device) which can correct for atmospheric conditions, shot angle, and wind.... no targets will be safe even as the range streaches to well beyond 1000yds.
